Over the years, CNMC and AMMAN have maintained close communication and cooperation, he said, noting that the two sides have worked together closely to advance the copper smelter project for AMMAN's subsidiary PT Amman Mineral Industri (AMIN), ensuring the project's successful completion and commissioning, as well as obtaining the PAC certificate, thus further strengthening the foundation of mutual trust.
CNMC has been deeply engaged in the nonferrous metals industry for many years and has accumulated extensive experience in mineral resource development, smelting and processing, engineering construction, and project operations, Wen said.
He expressed the hope that, building on the success of their cooperation, the two sides will continue to expand collaboration across the entire mining value chain, deliver more practical outcomes, and leverage their respective strengths to achieve complementary advantages and win-win results, contributing to the further development of China-Indonesia economic and trade relations.
Arief Sidarto spoke highly of the professional expertise and strong performance in contract fulfillment demonstrated by CNMC and CNMC's subsidiary China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC) during the construction of the AMIN copper smelter project.
He said that the successful completion and operation of the project are a result of the long-standing trust and close collaboration between the two sides, and represent a vivid example of China-Indonesia cooperation in the mining sector.
The project has helped AMMAN achieve a significant milestone in its integrated mining and smelting development, according to Arief Sidarto, who noted that AMMAN expects to further deepen cooperation with CNMC and jointly advance more projects.
The AMMAN delegation visited CNMC's exhibition hall before the meeting.
The meeting was attended by representatives from AMMAN, including Naveen Chandralal, Director of AMMAN, senior executives of CNMC, and relevant personnel from NFC.
